The characteristics of rubber are both high elasticity and high viscosity. The elasticity of rubber is caused by the changes in the conformation of its curled molecules. Rubber materials used for shock absorption purposes are generally divided into 5 types, namely NR, SBR, BR are common rubber materials; NBR is used for oil-resistant vulcanized rubber; CR is used for weather-resistant vulcanized rubber; IIR is used for high-damping vulcanized rubber; EPR is used for Heat-resistant vulcanizate. Although NR has a small loss factor, it has the best overall performance, excellent elasticity, good fatigue resistance, low heat generation, small creep, good adhesion to metal parts, cold resistance, electrical insulation and processing properties. Therefore, NR is widely used for shock absorption purposes. When low temperature resistance or weather resistance is required, it can be used together or blended with BR or CR. After installation, it is necessary to clean the soapy water thoroughly. Prevent automobile safety parts-damping springs from rusting and breaking, causing human injuries;


⒋ Install the cushion rubber in the middle part of the spring (please refer to the installation techniques introduced later),……, put down the car body after the wheels are installed, and confirm that the spring is inserted into the upper and lower grooves of the cushion rubber.


Installation skills and experience of automobile spring buffer glue:


The buffer rubber specifications are mainly directly related to the "spring spacing". Please be sure to note that the installed buffer rubber specifications are suitable for the corresponding springs. If the specifications do not match, please do not install them (if you are shopping online, it is recommended to measure the spring spacing before buying. That is the safest and most secure way).


The circumference of the cushion rubber may exceed the circumference of the spring (that is, the cushion rubber will overlap from end to end after installation). If there is overlap, the excess length must be cut off, otherwise there will be harms and no benefits! Pay attention to cutting both ends equally. For example, if there is an excess (overlap) 8 cm, cut 4 to 5 cm from the end to the end.


If the circumference of the spring is too large (the spring is not wrapped around the spring after the cushion is installed), please pay attention to whether it reaches two-thirds of the spring. If it is two-thirds enough, then there is no problem and will not affect the use effect; if it is less than two-thirds or less (this phenomenon is very rare), two cushion rubbers are required to be used in combination (only one spring can be wound at most) Circle, cannot overlap).


Regardless of the style of the spring as a whole (straight, conical, inverted, barrel), the cushion rubber must be installed in the middle of the spring to achieve the best effect. The outward or inward opening of the buffer glue does not affect the use effect, but the inward opening will be more beautiful.


When the car body is lifted up, the spring is in a stretched state, and the spring spacing during stretching cannot match the cushion rubber (so the car body should not be raised too high), try to let the spring into the cushion rubber slot or unilateral Into the slot. When lowering the car body slowly, check and pay attention that the spring is completely inserted into the upper and lower grooves of the cushion rubber.


After the cushioning glue is installed properly, it is recommended to use a nylon cable tie to tighten the cushioning rubber and the spring as a whole at the position of the cushioning glue hole (click to see what is a nylon cable tie). The advantage is to avoid loosening or misalignment during long-term use. When the car body is lifted later, the spring tension is not easy to leave the buffer rubber slot.

If the effect is really so good and there is no damage, then why does the car not come with it when it leaves the factory? After all, it's not worth much. The elastic force is equal to the elasticity index multiplied by the deformation length. What I want to say here is that the suspension bearing capacity of a car is set by the manufacturer before, that is to say, the maximum load it must bear without lowering the car to a height that affects the exercise.
